Scientific Analog joins Cadence Connections EDA Program

Scientific Analog, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has joined the Cadence® Connections® EDA Program to enhance the integration of its EDA products, namely, XMODEL, GLISTER, and MODELZEN into the Cadence Virtuoso Design Framework. The first goal of this alliance is to develop an integration interface for launching XMODEL simulations and browsing their results within the Cadence Analog Design Environment (ADE).

Scientific Analog, Inc. is a leading developer and provider of a mixed-signal simulator in SystemVerilog (XMODEL), automatic model generator (MODELZEN), and schematic-based design environment (GLISTER). Cadence Design Systems, Inc. is a leading provider of system design tools, software, IP, and services. The Cadence Connections Program supports and embraces third-party software suppliers that offer complementary solutions in front-end design, verification intellectual property (IP), IC implementation, mixed-signal design, verification, manufacturability, and system-package-board. Through the program, software suppliers can access Cadence software and support for the development of validated interfaces to Cadence products, all while supporting proven Cadence design flows.

"We strive to make XMODEL as easy to use as possible and we hope that this alliance leads to a set of new features that seamlessly integrate XMODEL into the Cadence tools," said Jaeha Kim, CEO and founder of Scientific Analog.
